Welcome to the Teter Airfield, in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia, which hosts a 65' X 750' smooth well maintained grass runway just waiting for your landing gear to taxi onto for a spectacular take off and landing. The airfield is a new home for all types and sizes of aircraft and helicopters. Even EDF jets with small wheels can takeoff and land with little effort.
The welcome mat is out for new and veteran flyers who wish to share this fabulous hobby. Call anytime for access, or stop by on Thursdays and weekends. Teter Airfield is a family oriented facility focused on having fun and sharing.
Teter Airfield management welcomes seasoned pilots, new pilots, or those who want to be pilots and those that just want to watch. In addition, demonstrations may be arranged for school, church, or other fraternal groups.
AMA membership is required due to the letigious society we live in, to protect persons and property.
Direction to Teter Airfield. Teter airfield is located north of US 33 in Buckhannon, West Virginia off State Route 20. From Buckhannon, take State Route 20/119 north 6 miles and turn right at the Methodist church located at the intersection of Teter Road. Follow Teter Road for 2 miles and turn right on Teter Crossing road, then follow signs. The following link on Google maps will also provide you with directions.
